Batteries

Batteries are often misrepresented and overlooked when specifying UPS and critical power systems. They typically represent up to 30% of the cost of a typical UPS and provide the reserve power source in the event of power failure.

Without a battery a UPS is unable to maintain output and therefore we consider the battery to be of equal importance and value as the UPS module itself. We only specify high quality batteries from high end manufacturers. Similarly we consider resilience and reliability in the battery to be paramount and our designs can incorporate fault tolerant, isolated multiple battery strings.

 
Where safety is to be enhanced (to MOD Defence Estates Standard) we have developed a fully approved safe battery isolation system.
